Auricular Medicine Certificate Program
Present at CITCM

We are very pleased to have Dr. Li Chun Huang and Dr. William Huang to present an eight level certificate program at Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. These eight level Lectures teach health care practitioners a step by step, unique and effective way for diagnosis and treatment. Auricular medicine is a modality that all the health practitioners can incorporate into their existing practice.

This program includes 8 different lectures, covering from the fundamentals to advanced features of Auricular Medicine. Each lecture requires two to three days to accomplish.

Each lecture is composed the following contents:

Powerpoint Presentation: To cover the important knowledge of this topic. Dr. William Huang and Dr. Lichun Huang will explain the basic concept in great detail.

On-hand Demonstration: to demonstrate the accuracy of auricular diagnosis, and efficacy of auricular treatment, and to teach the techniques and manipulation methods of Auricular Medicine.

Here are the descriptions of the 8 lectures.

Lecture I:

introduces the basic concepts about Auricular Medicine.

Lecture II:

Introduce the its definitions, distributions, and classifications of Auricular Points with corresponding pathological changes.

Lecture III and
Lecture IV:

Introduce auricular points functions, indications, and clinical applications.

Lecture V:

Teaches Auricular Visual and Palpation Diagnosis methods.

Lecture VI:

Teaches Auricular Electrical Detection and Differentiation Methods.

Lecture VII:

Teaches point selection and combination in Auricular Treatment. Prescriptions from the Instructors who have 35 years of practice for different diseases will be introduced.

Lecture VIII:

Introduces different treatment methods, especially Auricular Seed Therapy, Auricular Massage Therapy, and Auricular Bleeding Therapy,

Certificates

After each level of study, certificate will be issued by Auricular Medicine International Research & Training Center and CITCM. Auricular therapist, auricular practitioner and auricular master certificate will be issued after participant finished the required level of Lectures and clinical observations and practice.
