Dermatology-Essential Points for Stubborn Skin Conditions / Clinical Practice for Infertility

 

Yiwen Su, OMD, L.Ac., started his eight years of TCM university training in 1980 at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. After years of teaching and practicing in Chengdu University and its attached hospital, Dr. Su gained 15 years of teaching and practice experience in Germany, Israel and U.S.A. Dr. Su’s encyclopedic knowledge and unique teaching style have made him one of the most popular instructors in a few renown U.S. acupuncture schools, namely Emperor’s college in California, Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine in Seattle. Due to his expertise and years of clinical experience in dermatology, immunology and others, Dr. Su has had very successful clinics with a focus on skin conditions in Israel, and Seattle, and the U.S.A.

 

Li Jin, DAOM, L.Ac., began her TCM study in 1988 at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, where she earned her first Bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Graduated as one of the top students, Dr. Jin also received her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. Her area of specialty in her doctoral training is in women’s health and pain management. Dr. Jin taught in a program for Israeli medical doctors to learn TCM, at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, Israel from 1994-1998. In the U.S., Dr. Jin was consistently rated by the academic directors and her students as one of the best faculty of the Doctor’s and Master’s degree programs at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, OR., at Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine in Seattle, WA, at Emperor’s College of Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, CA and at Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Seattle, WA. Dr. Jin has taught numerous didactic courses including TCM Gynecology and supervised student clinics for over 10 years in the U.S, Europe and Israel. Dr. Jin also has a busy private practice with a focus on women’s health in Seattle.

 

 

Lecture 1: TCM Dermatology-Essential Points for Stubborn Skin Conditions

Lecture description:

 

In this two-hour lecture, Dr. Su will illustrate the essential points from his success in treating complicated skin conditions from case studies. And Dr. Su will answer the common questions arose by general practitioners: Why is it so hard to diagnose and cure skin conditions?  What are the tips for success? How to find the balance of getting skin conditions solved while handling the general health issues that come with it? This lecture is focused on clinical practice.

 

Lecture 2: TCM Clinical Practice for Infertility:

Instructor:  Dr. Li Jin

Lecture Description:

 

In this two-hour lecture, Dr. Li Jin will give an advanced lecture on how to integrate the analysis of BBT (Basic Metabolism Temperature) in corresponds with Yin Yang wane and wan theory in diagnosis and treatment planning of fertility. She will answer common questions often asked by acupuncture and TCM practitioners: How to interpret the BBT chart with Yin & Yang wane and wan? What’s the TCM significance behind the different biomedical diagnosis of fertility problems? How to use the integrated analysis of BBT and Yin Yang wane and wan theory to improve the success of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine treatment for infertility. This lecture is focused on clinical practice.
