The Dr.Ac./Dr.TCM Computer-Aided Program is a four-year program with 3598 hours of training. This includes Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Chinese Tui Na Massage Body-Work. The Doctor of Acupuncture/Doctor of TCM Program contains the same training as the Acupuncture Diploma Program in the first three years, with the fourth year focusing on Chinese Herbal Medicine. The Chinese Herbal Medicine training includes the study of over 350 herbs and 200 classic time tested and effective formulas. Clinical courses cover acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine and involve the treatment of internal, pediatric, gynecological, dermatological, muscular-skeleton illnesses and sports injury. Clinical observation and internship allow students to master the knowledge they need to successfully practice.
This program allows people study most of theories at home watching live class videos, and for the clinical and hands on portion of study, it is enhanced with extensive case studies as well as intensive on site training.
An optional Three-month internship in the clinical training hospitals in China is recommended. |
