Acupuncture Diploma Program
The Acupuncture diploma Program is a three-year program with 2900 hours of
training including traditional Chinese medicine foundation, diagnostic methods,
Tui Na massage, acupuncture, western biomedical science, Chinese herbal
medicine, Chinese and western medicine clinical courses such as internal,
pediatric, gynecological, dermatological illnesses, sports injury, muscularskeleton
illnesses, and clinical observation and internship.
Graduates of the Acupuncture Diploma Program will meet the criteria required
to write the Alberta provincial licensing examination to become a registered
acupuncturist in Alberta, which is also recognized by BC and Quebec.

Doctor of TCM Diploma Program
The Doctor of TCM Diploma Program is a four-year program with 4007 hours
of training including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Chinese Tui
Na message bodywork. The Doctor of TCM Diploma Program has
the same training as the Acupuncture Diploma program in the
first three years and the fourth year focusing on Chinese herbal
medicine training. The Chinese herbal medicine training includes
the study of over 350 herbs and 200 classic time tested effective
formulas. Clinical courses cover acupuncture and Chinese
herbal medicine treatment of internal, pediatric, gynecological,
dermatological illnesses and sports injury, muscular-skeleton
illnesses. Clinical observation and internship allows students to
master the knowledge they need to successfully practice.
An optional Three-month internship in the clinical training hospitals
in China is recommended.

Chinese Tui Na Massage Diploma Program
Chinese Tui Na massage program is a 1 year program with 1000 hours of training
including basic Chinese medicine and western medicine theory, clinic courses, and
practice. Courses cover Chinese Tui Na massage, acupressure for muscular skeletal
and orthopedic disorders, as well as for digestive, neurological, respiratory and cardiovascular
diseases. This technique is also commonly used for pediatric and senior's
illnesses. The program also covers self-health maintenance acupressure that both
practitioners and patients can use to maintain and improve health conditions.
This program has approval from the Association of Massage Therapists and Wholistic
practitioners. Graduates will meet the requirements to be a registered massage
therapist.

Focused Chinese Acupressure / Tui Na Massage Program
The focused massage therapist program is developed for registered massage
therapists that would like to broaden their practice by learning a massage technique
that uses acupressure and emphasizes therapeutic techniques.
This is a part time program with 360 hours of intensive training and clinical time.
