The first Chinese Tui Na Massage Workshop was such a success
that we are offering it for a second session with part 1 on
January 13 and 14, and part 2 on February 10 and 11, 2007.
Registration is accepted now with early bird pricing offered

the Instructor Dr. Yi Fu
Dr. Fu is a visiting professor from China who graduated from
the Chengdu University of TCM. While completing his PhD in acupuncture,
he apprenticed under Professor Jin Da Chai, one of the most
famous orthopedic specialists and Tui Na massage experts in
China, where he learned specialized techniques for cervical
and spinal disorders. Dr. Fu has been practicing since 2001at
the Sichuan Reflexology Tui Na and Acupuncture clinic and at
the teaching hospital of Chengdu University of TCM.
Workshops
Level 1
In this workshop you will learn the basic manipulations of rolling,
kneading, rubbing, scraping, pushing, foulage, shaking, vibrating,
pressing, grasping, tapping, rotating, and stretching. Dr. Fu's
instruction will focus on proper force and direction of the
manipulations as well as proper posture while performing the
manipulations. Most of the time will be spent practicing the
techniques so that you will be able to start incorporating them
into your practice right away.
Level 2
Expand upon your knowledge of techniques and applications. Dr.
Fu will teach some combined manipulations. You will learn how
to use Tui Na techniques for facial rejuvenation, relaxation,
and procedures for treating common diseases such as cervical
problems, headaches/migraines, and fibromyalgia. Ways to enhance
your manipulations through Qi Gong practice will also be taught.
A majority of class time is spent in hands on practice with
Dr. Fu's supervision and corrections.
