Our Distance Learning Programs are designed for students who are seeking quality acupuncture and TCM education but have time and/or regional limitation and are unable to attend our regular classes. Streaming instructional videos provide a live class setting for distance learners and enrich students' study resources. We also provide interactive online forum for effective communication to ensure questions are answered in a prompt time frame. Sequential interactive self-testing review will keep students' learning direction. High-speed server, advanced computer system are used to avoid lagging.

Exceptional Faculty
Our faculty members have chief instructors as Ph. D degree holders in acupuncture and TCM with extensive teaching, clinical and research experiences, and are joined with a diversity of health care practitioners such as physicians, naturopath, dentists, chiropractors and physiotherapists who loves teaching and have a holistic and integrated approach towards their practice.

Intensive Site Training
Twice a year, students receive onsite intensive training which mainly focus on hands on skills development, and clinical training under experienced supervisors to gain compact clinical knowledge in a short period of time.

High Standard Of Curriculum
The curricula of both the Acupuncture Diploma Program and TCM Doctor Program offered by CITCM meets or exceeds the regulation requirements of Alberta, British Columbia and the United States. The curricula is based on five years TCM university training in China with sufficient training hours: 2900 hours for the acupuncture program and 4007 hours for the doctor of TCM program.

Study trip to China
You will be learning in the teaching hospital of TCM University under the instruction and supervision of sophisticated professors and doctors to see varieties of clinical conditions and gaining practical experience. Topics based on participant's interest will be given as additional lectures.
